And here we are about to ring in the New Year! When it
comes to hosting a holiday celebration, it feels good knowing you are 
treating your guest to great food and drinks. You work hard to prepare it
all, and when everyone has food on their plate and a drink in 
their hand it can give you a great sense of fulfillment. Part of being a
host is wanting to know your guest leave safely. There is nothing 
worse than knowing a friend or family member has had a little too much to
drink as they are getting ready to leave. Fortunately, there is 
a way to avoid this, and still have a great holiday celebration! Here are
3 delicious non-alcoholic drinks for you and your guest to enjoy!

Virgin Peppermint – Egg-nog Punch

Here is the flavor of the holiday with a spin on egg-nog!

What you will need: 

1 quart peppermint ice cream

I quart egg-nog 

1 10 oz. bottle of ginger ale, chilled 

Peppermint sticks (optional) 

What to do: 

1. Place ice cream in a large chilled bowl, stir until softened. Then
gradually stir in egg-nog.

2. Transfer these ingredients to a punch bowl and add ginger ale until
you reach the desired consistency.

3. Top each serving with a peppermint sticks.

*This recipe makes 18 servings (4 oz. per serving).

Virgin Spiced Cranberry Cider 

This holiday season make cranberries more than just a holiday décor by
making them part of your special beverage!

What You Will Need: 

5 cups of apple cider or apple juice 

5 cups of cranberry juice 

1 ½ cups guava juice or mango

¼ cup lime juice

1 tsp. ground ginger

½ tsp. ground cinnamon

½ tsp. ground allspice

Honey (optional) 

Lime slices (optional) 

What to do: 

1. Combine apple cider, cranberry juice, guava juice, lime juice,
ginger, cinnamon and allspice into a 4 quart dutch oven.

bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes stirring
occasionally. If desired, sweeten to taste with honey. 

2. Serve with ladle into mugs and garnish with lime slices if desired.

Frost Bite Mocktail 

You will have guest fooled with this martini look alike! No wonder it is
called “mocktail”!

What You Will Need: 

Ice

1 oz. lime juice

1 oz. pineapple juice 

2 oz. white grape juice 

Fresh mint leaves 

Fresh blueberries

3 oz. Sierra Mist Natural 

What to do: 

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice , lime juice and pineapple juice,
mix.

2. Add white grape juice , mint and blueberries. Using the back of a
spoon, crush a couple of blueberries.

3. Shake all ingredients well and strain into a large glass filled
with ice.
